Hi, I’m Elizabeth,

a clinical therapist specializing in perinatal mental health and parenting.

Hi, I'm Elizabeth. I support individuals, couples, and families through the many transitions of life and relationships, with a special focus on fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenthood.

For more than a decade, I've worked alongside families as a new parent educator and postpartum doula. In that time, I've seen that building a family can hold joy, uncertainty, loss, and countless decisions, often all at once. Many of the parents I've worked with felt overwhelmed not only by the changes themselves, but by the flood of outside opinions about how they should feel and what they should do. That experience shapes everything about how I work today.

I believe you are the expert on your own life. My role isn't to hand you answers. It's to offer a warm, grounding space where you can explore what you're carrying, name your needs and values, and move forward with greater confidence and connection. I strive for a power-with relationship with my clients rather than a power-over one. You can expect encouragement from me, along with gentle, honest feedback when you're facing uncertainty.

I'm also curious about the bigger picture. Family roles, cultural expectations, and social systems all shape our experiences and the support available to us. Together we can look at how these forces show up in your life, so you can make choices that feel truly your own.

Outside of my work, I value friendship and community, and you'll often find me swimming in the cold Maine waters near my home in South Portland.
